100% On-Device Architecture • Zero Tracking

Privacy Policy for OpenHousePad

Effective Date: September 6, 2026 • Developer: Adrian Danet

1. Introduction

OpenHousePad ("the App", developed by Adrian Danet) is designed for licensed real estate professionals, REALTORS®, brokerages, and host agents to facilitate visitor registration during property open houses.

Core Privacy Philosophy: OpenHousePad operates on a strict local-first, on-device architecture. The app does not collect, track, upload, monetize, or transmit visitor contact information, attendee preferences, or property details to any remote developer servers or marketing databases.

2. Visitor Check-In Privacy & Kiosk Protection

Traditional paper sign-in sheets represent a severe privacy vulnerability: every visitor who signs in can easily see the full names, personal phone numbers, and email addresses of all preceding attendees.

OpenHousePad solves this fundamentally:

3. Information Handled & Storage

A. Visitor Lead Data

When attendees check in, they may provide their name, phone number, email, agent representation status, purchasing timeframe, mortgage pre-approval status, and whether they have a home to sell. This information is saved exclusively within the local, sandboxed SQLite / JSON storage on your Apple device.

B. Camera & Photo Library Access

If granted (NSCameraUsageDescription, NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription), camera and photo access is used solely to allow the agent to capture or select a property photo to customize the kiosk header banner. No images are uploaded to any external server.

C. Lead Exports & Seller Reports

When an agent triggers an export:

Exports are transferred exclusively through Apple's native iOS ShareSheet to destinations selected by the agent (e.g., AirDrop, Apple Mail, personal iCloud Drive, or local Files). The developer has zero visibility or access to these files.

4. Analytics, Tracking & Third-Party SDKs

OpenHousePad contains no third-party advertising frameworks, no tracking SDKs, and no telemetry services (such as Google Firebase, Meta Pixel, or Mixpanel). We respect user and attendee privacy by design.

5. Data Retention & Control

The host agent retains 100% ownership and control over all saved events and visitor leads. You can edit, delete individual leads, or delete entire open house events at any time from the Agent Dashboard. Deleting the application from your iOS device immediately and permanently removes all stored data from the local sandbox.
