1. Core Privacy Philosophy
OpenHousePad is engineered around a strict principle: your real estate leads and open house attendees belong entirely to you. Unlike legacy lead capture tools that monetize, harvest, or aggregate buyer contact records, OpenHousePad functions as a private on-device tool with secure cloud backup. We never sell, share, or broker your contacts to any third party.
2. Front-Door Kiosk Privacy: 3-Second Auto-Wipe
When visitors enter their name, phone, email, and financing information on the iPad kiosk at the front door, their submission is beamed directly to your iPhone. Exactly three seconds after submission, the iPad screen wipes blank and returns to the initial touch screen. Subsequent visitors, competing agents, or neighbors browsing the home can never see prior attendees' contact details.
3. Data Storage & Cloud Backup
All open house event records, attendee entries, and agent profiles reside locally on your iPhone in sandboxed application storage. When an internet connection is available, data is backed up to your private cloud storage for disaster recovery. You maintain full ownership and can export your data at any time in standard RFC 4180 CSV format.
4. Peer-to-Peer Offline Connectivity
OpenHousePad connects your iPad kiosk and your iPhone using Apple's local peer-to-peer radio framework (Multipeer Connectivity over local Wi-Fi and Bluetooth). This communication happens directly between your two devices without passing through public cloud servers, ensuring instantaneous transmission and complete privacy even in properties with zero internet service.
5. Zero Tracking & No Advertising
OpenHousePad does not display third-party advertisements, does not contain tracking pixels, and does not use behavioral analytics SDKs to track your location or usage patterns.
